Circle M RV Resort and Campground is a Thousand Trails (Outdoor World) property located in the heart of Lancaster County. Pennsylvania Dutch Country and Amish Country. We would not normally plan to take a big RV anywhere near New York City, but we booked a stay at Liberty Harbor RV Park to coincide with a visit from one of Julie’s friends from Australia who was going to be in NYC for a wedding. This is one of the closest campgrounds
En route from Ohio to Maine, we spent 2 nights at Niagara Falls, staying up at the lovely Branches of Niagara campground on Grand Island, NY. Marc took the Friday off and we spent the day exploring the Falls, packing so much into our day/night that we created 2 blog posts plus videos, to showcase the experience from both the USA and Canada sides.
As you might imagine, navigating a big city with an RV + tow vehicle is not for the faint of heart! With heavy traffic, impatient and aggressive drivers, numerous low bridges and tunnels, grid-locked lanes snaking the freeway (a misnomer as they’re anything but free) and the lack of campgrounds, it’s not exactly an enticing destination for RVers…
