California is one of the best states for Thousand Trails RV resort locations. The fact that California has such a variety in elevation and latitude provides an opportunity for finding just the right climate for your RV travels year-round.

Thousand Trails has nine RV parks accessible with a standard membership in northern California. There are also five Destination Campgrounds accessible with a Trails Collection membership.

Northern California Thousand Trails

Lake Minden has 212 sites split up into two main sections on either side of their 41-acre lake for fishing, swimming, and occasionally remote control boat racing.

Ponderosa in Lotus, CA

Russian River RV Park encompasses 44 acres, with 125 RV sites. None of the RV sites have 50amp power, and there are no sewer connections. All sites have 30 amp power and there is a central dump station.
